Everglades National Park has recently published the preferred alternative for their
Commercial Services Plan (CSP). Public comment is open until May 15, 2008.
The plan would require over $22M in private capital to accomplish and estimates no
changes until 2013. Please share your thoughts with the NPS as they are requesting.

The Alternative E team, remains focused on the General Management Plan (GMP),
not the CSP, but we wanted you to be informed. While we have individual viewpoints
about the CSP, we have no team opinion on the CSP and remain focused on the GMP.

The preferred CSP alternative called D and the ability to make comment can be

Commissioners for unanimously supporting conservation balanced with the economy and
decades of local tradition and customs. The County and Islamorada have now formally
provided their endorsements to the concepts and pace of change suggested within
Alternative E.

GREAT NEWS.
The United Nations has removed ENP from its list of World Heritage in Danger. It was added in 1993. On June 24 2007, it was removed and the World Heritage Committee commended the United States for its progress rehabilitating the Florida Everglades. More information at link below:
